A little update on TFBC

Sorry about no recent updates, tooooooo busy with the moving away from youtube and all. I have great news for those I promised a copy of TFBC: July 24th is the magic date. Also, so you don't get pissed at me, I'll warn you now, you need some pretty good comp to handle it. Look below:

OS: Windows (R) XP Service pack 1 or higher, Windows (R) Vista 64-bit ONLY Service pack 1 or higher.
RAM: Minium of 400MB RAM, but higher the better.
Video card: Any with Cell Shader 2.0 (Any semi-new ones in other words. Memory is still testing)
Sound card: Just need speakers/headphones
HDD: 5GB for partial install (disc needed every play) or 15GB full install (no disc needed afterward)

Hope you have all you need.

small update

Hi all, long time no post. I have been asked alot of questions, mostly "Is there a way I can see 'Home Base?" For a long time, I have been saying no, until now. Just click and drag to rotate to find us. The home with the empty driveway is the one you want to see. There was noone home then and this is where Mark lives, as well as serving as the "Homeland" for us. Enjoy. (also, in the top right corner there's a weird icon, click it for full screen)

EP's new project: TFBC

here's the long waited (what? 3 minutes is long for me) backstory of the game: The Fight Before Christmas:

Back story of the game world: It was December 15, 3020 and you and your college buddy,Mark and Tyler, were out partying when Tyler sees a shiny piece of what seems to be paper on the ground. You read the paper out loud, "Expecto Teleportus". Suddenly everything turns black and you and your friend are pulled into another dimension. It is here, that both of you must fight your way through monsters and the flames of hell. Will you find your way back to your world before it's too late? (you can choose your character)

Hero/Heroes origin, powers, and weapons:
"Mark": He was always a city boy. Mark was born in the most populated part of New York City and grew up in the same area. He never felt lonely, he was always the popular kid at school. When he graduated high school, he got an offer to go to the University of Miami where he plays for the football team. During a football game against Georgia State, he injured his collarbone and spent a week in the hospital. He has powers noone among his friends understands, such as: flight, teleportation and the ability to withstand a lot of pain. He always carries his trusty 2X4 and can also operate rifles, machine guns and pistols.
"Tyler": Born and raised in Hollywood, Florida, his dream was to go to college. Now he has that chance. Tyler got accepted to the University of Miami and met Mark on his first day. They were friends from the start. Unlike Mark, Tyler has a deep secret; however like Mark, it's his powers. Tyler can levitate objects, has an IQ of 400 and can call the spirits of passed family/friends. He is average when it comes to firearms; he can hold a pistol and fire well, but hand him a machine gun, he's a lousy shot.

Villian/Enemies abilities, motives, and accomplishments:
Basher: Most common enemy in the game. They love to hold clubs, bats and anything else they can grab. They're not that fast, but they love to attack in swarms of 3 or more. They only love one thing: killing, do your best to try to stop them.
Rammer: You'll encounter your first Rammer in level 3. They're invinceable to almost everything (Make sure you grab that rocket launcher when the level starts). They attack in groups of 2, sometimes 3, and ram you into walls and other objects.
Zombie: The living undead comes, what will you do? Here's a hint: don't let them get close. They are the slowest in the game, but they also attack in swarms of 15+. You'll start seeing them when you get close to the fire part of the game. They love to feast on brains and will not stop until they get what they want. It's easy to kill them, but it's only temporary. When one dies, 2 more spawn. They spawn in random places in the level, so be prepared.
Bats: They're not ordinary bats, Dr. Grimm genitally modified them to kill humans. They want blood, and there's no stopping them once they locate you. They're very small, but easily seen (look for bright yellow in dark caves). Your best bet is to sneak behind them and take them out at a distance.
Dr. Grimm: Just another mad scientist, he loves to tamper with genetics. His goal in his mind is to genitally modify our world. He will do anything to beat you, and he will. When you reach him, he will abduct Tyler and you must fight Tyler before you can fight The Doctor. He is the reason Rome fell in history, and he wants to destory everything this time.

Overall conflict that is happening:
Mark and Tyler must find their way back home after being pulled into another dimention. Along the way, they meet alot of weird characters and start to fight about who they should trust. When they split up, you are left to fend for yourself. When your character reaches the final level, he is confronted by his "friend" (the one you didn't choose) and they must fight. When you finish the game, a portal opens and it seems you are home.

Mission objectives for levels:
Find a teleport flag hidden somewhere in the level.

Controls:
This game would be controlled by the mouse and keyboard. layout below:
arrow keys: move/sidestep (depends on setting in options menu)
move mouse: look around
left mouse button: fire weapon/use power
mouse wheel: select weapon/power
right mouse button: when in clear area: examines area in front of you
right mouse button: when in an area with enemies: shows enemy data (strengths, weaknesses etc.)

it'll be done by june 09 (if all goes well), but it may not since it's now a 1 man show. IT WILL NOT RELEASE ANY LATER THAN OCTOBER!

the game that we're working on...

ok, if you read the first post ever on this page, good for you! anyway, here's what we're doing...

if you're like me (or basically anyone else), you're fed up with the video game industry. well, we're doing something about it. my friend has an uncle that works for blizzard (sounds like a hypocrite, trust me, it's not), and we asked him if he'd help us make our own game. he of course agreed (what is family for right?) well, then my friend asked me "well, we got the guy on board, i hope you have an idea" well, little did he know that i've had one floating in my head for a few years. so, we got started on it, and this is what we got:
well, here's some more to drool at:
well, that's the final boss: dr. grimm
the killer scorpions in level 4the rammers in level 3

ok next blog will have the idea for the game, it'll clear everything up

welcome to the new blog of EP

you seem to have stumbled onto a new blog. well, if you play runescape or gametap, you probably know me. i'm eagleflies14 on both games. i have started Eagle Productions on youtube, and how about bringing it here? well, here i'll keep you updated (when i can or remember) on ALL of EP's doings. these include:

casting for a new video
filming a new video
breaking news when a video gets pushed out of editing
cutting edge first looks at the game we're creating (more on that a little later)

so kick back, relax, grab a pepsi (or coke if you prefer), you're in good company.
